Ethos is hiring a Security Engineer - Mid-Atlantic region (Remote - EST preferred)

TensorOps is hiring a Security Engineer to join GuidePoint Security’s team. In this role, you will guide the full lifecycle of security technologies for clients, from pre-sales through delivery, requiring a self-driven professional with deep expertise in SASE and network security. You'll work primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region, remotely with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone.

What You'll Do

• Provide Service Desk management for SASE vendor MSSP programs operating on a 24x7 basis.
• Be available after hours to resolve customer issues and manage on-call rotations.
• Interface professionally with customer points of contact to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Provide process-level input to streamline team operations.
• Participate in process documentation using LLMs and automation.
• Deliver effective network security implementation and consulting services for multiple customers.
• Implement and manage SASE technologies from vendors like Netskope, ZScaler, and Palo Alto.
• Deploy and manage firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point, and Cisco.
• Develop comprehensive security documentation like as-builts, implementation guides, and network diagrams.
• Act as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams.
• Manage project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Author security runbooks, policies, and best practice documentation.
• Lead projects and serve as the trusted network security voice for customers.

What We're Looking For

• Service desk experience responding to customer issues and directing to Tier 2/Tier 3 resources.
• 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and integrating top SASE technologies (Palo Alto, ZScaler, Netskope, Cato).
• Strong experience deploying and managing large, complex Palo Alto environments.
• Experience architecting secure networks across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, containerized, and serverless environments.
• Experience deploying firewall technologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Broad experience with foundational network and security concepts.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus relevant certifications.
• Must live in the U.S. to be considered.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a similar field.
• Experience in a consultative or professional services role.
• SD-WAN experience with technologies like HP-Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma-Cloudgenix, or Cisco-Viptela, including full SASE integration.
• SASE Certifications.
• NGFW and Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) certifications.
• Applicants in the eastern time zone are highly preferred.
