As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and prospects, guiding them through the evaluation, implementation, and growth of a comprehensive cybersecurity platform. Your expertise will help organizations align security strategy with business objectives, ensuring successful adoption and measurable results.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, understanding customer goals and translating them into effective security solutions.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations and technical narratives that resonate with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Lead Proof of Concepts to validate platform effectiveness, ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including Product, Engineering, and Marketing—to ensure customer needs shape platform evolution.
- Represent the organization at industry events, webinars, and field engagements, sharing insights on cybersecurity trends and best practices.
- Create technical assets such as demos, architectural diagrams, and training materials to support partners and internal teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform features, including beta releases and upcoming enhancements, across cloud, AI, and security analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, networking, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of five years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering roles supporting enterprise clients.
- Proven ability to engage with technical decision-makers and C-level executives in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of public cloud platforms—AWS, Azure, and GCP—and experience designing solutions across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity domains including cloud security, risk visibility, IT modernization, and network architecture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering live demos and technical workshops.
- Ability to quickly master emerging technologies in fast-moving cybersecurity and AI landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or cybersecurity startups with rapid product cycles.
- Familiarity with XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, or security posture management tools.
- Hands-on scripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Background in SOC operations, threat detection, or incident response workflows.
- Experience enabling MSSPs, GSIs, or channel partners.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and HIPAA.
- Experience conducting executive briefings, security maturity assessments, or architecture workshops.
- Passion for mentoring colleagues and sharing technical knowledge across teams.
- Direct experience applying AI/ML, LLMs, or agentic AI in security automation or analytics.
Work Mode
This role is remote within the U.S., with regular travel required for customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements. The position is aligned with the Washington DC region but supports national coverage.
