Responsibilities
- Carry out receptionist tasks and monitor incoming complaints.
- Oversee staff timekeeping records.
- Gather reports, input data, and create spreadsheets using Excel.
- Process uncollected accounts.
- Handle transfers through the Siebel system.
- Process orders for office supplies in Oracle.
- Distribute mail pouches, file documents, and perform typing tasks.
- Assist in preparing reports, legal notices, disposition work orders, and notices for apartment inspections.
- Manage correspondence for supervisors to communicate with residents, community leaders, vendors, and other NYCHA departments.

- This posting is for two (2) positions and open to NYCHA employees only.
- The selected Secretary 3A will be a NYCHA employee assigned to Nostrand Houses and will work on behalf of the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust.
- If appointment is made on a provisional basis pursuant to 65 of the NYS Civil Service Law, no tenure or permanence accrues to an incumbent in this position by virtue of such appointment.
