  • Carry out receptionist tasks and monitor incoming complaints.
  • Oversee staff timekeeping records.
  • Gather reports, input data, and create spreadsheets using Excel.
  • Process uncollected accounts.
  • Handle transfers through the Siebel system.
  • Process orders for office supplies in Oracle.
  • Distribute mail pouches, file documents, and perform typing tasks.
  • Assist in preparing reports, legal notices, disposition work orders, and notices for apartment inspections.
  • Manage correspondence for supervisors to communicate with residents, community leaders, vendors, and other NYCHA departments.

  • This posting is for two (2) positions and open to NYCHA employees only.
  • The selected Secretary 3A will be a NYCHA employee assigned to Nostrand Houses and will work on behalf of the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust.
  • If appointment is made on a provisional basis pursuant to 65 of the NYS Civil Service Law, no tenure or permanence accrues to an incumbent in this position by virtue of such appointment.
  • This position is open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
