As a Secondary Teacher with Brisbane Catholic Education at St Michael's College, Merrimac, you will ignite a passion for learning in students while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education. What You'll Do
- Create a nurturing, learner-centred, and ordered learning environment aligned with curriculum policies and practices.
- Collaboratively develop, implement, and evaluate quality curriculum programs and pedagogy, assessing and reporting on student progress.
- Work with the leadership team and staff to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
- Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Establish positive relationships for the pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development.
- Ensure the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for all learning and teaching.
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- For this position you are required to be Catholic.
