Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master with strong Business Analysis and Program Management capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive delivery excellence, and ensure strategic alignment between business objectives and technical execution. This is a strategic, outcomes-driven role for a leader who can operate comfortably at both the team and program levels.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive teams on Agile principles, ensuring continuous improvement and high-velocity delivery.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus and flow.
- Track and optimize team performance using Agile metrics like velocity, burndown, throughput, and cycle time.
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to refine product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct impact assessments, process mapping, and gap analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure requirements are aligned with business goals, regulatory needs, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate across multiple teams, workstreams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain program plans, dependencies, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to ensure architectural, security, and compliance standards are met.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Delivery Lead, or Program Manager.
- Strong background in Business Analysis, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience managing programs or large-scale initiatives across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, PMI ACP, or SAFe.
