Capgemini is hiring a Scrum Master to ensure our teams adhere to Agile principles and continuously improve their processes. You will facilitate the Scrum framework to guide teams in delivering high-quality products effectively.
What You'll Do
- Manage project scope and timeline
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers or stakeholders)
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Guide development teams to higher Scrum maturity
What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of experience in an Agile development environment with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies; experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical solutions
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar
- Familiarity with JIRA board and Confluence
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- A Master's degree is a plus
- Advanced certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable
- Proficiency in client technologies to handle projects
