Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to act as a mentor and leader within our dynamic R&D teams. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to contribute to architectural design while supporting the delivery of our product roadmap for banking and financial institutions.
What You'll Do
- Act as a mentor and leader for the team, reinforcing the organization’s values and culture.
- Use deep technical knowledge to contribute to the product’s architectural design.
- Contribute to defining the product roadmap and support end-to-end delivery of product releases.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- Develop software products within collaborative, non-hierarchical R&D teams.
- Empower and encourage teams to continuously improve technology and processes.
- Challenge and support individuals and engineering practices to enhance product quality.
- Support product team governance to ensure solution quality and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8 years of experience delivering Java-based and open-source technology solutions as an engineer, ideally within international organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, microservices architecture, and cloud computing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing Agile methodology, ideally as a Scrum Master.
- English language proficiency at a B2/C1 level.
- A starter level in French or a genuine interest in learning French (training can be provided).
Nice to Have
- Strong skills in data structures and algorithms, with experience in digital transformation and modern technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate, build relationships, and support organizational goals.
- Solid experience working with large-scale enterprise components.
- A strong understanding of Agile environments and practices.
- Good knowledge of DevOps processes (CI/CD pipelines).
- A proactive mindset, able to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
