We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to act as a change agent, promote an Agile mindset, and coach our team within a visionary, customer-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Act as a change agent by promoting an Agile mindset and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and adaptability.
- Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Act as a servant leader, ensuring the Scrum Team has the tools, resources, and information needed to effectively complete their tasks.
- Identify and remove obstacles or impediments that hinder the team's progress and prevent them from achieving their sprint goals.
- Coach the Scrum Team and Product Owner on Agile principles and practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team, promoting open communication and transparency.
- Protect the team from external distractions and disruptions, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work during the sprint.
- Report on team progress using Agile metrics like burndown charts, velocity, and sprint progress.
- Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and outcomes during Sprint Retrospectives and facilitate improvements.
- Assist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined and up-to-date.
- Address conflicts and disagreements within the team, promoting a healthy and collaborative work environment.
- Identify and manage risks that could impact the successful completion of the project and work with the team to mitigate them.
- Stay up-to-date with Agile and Scrum best practices and share knowledge with the team.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience acting as a Scrum Master in a fast-moving tech environment.
Nice to Have
- Agile certification (ICAgile / ACSM / Kanban / SAFe) is preferred.
- Additional Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are a plus.
