Company is looking for a Scientific Communications Specialist, THV, Medical Affairs for a temporary role. You will be responsible for monitoring scientific literature, translating complex data into clear messages, and ensuring the quality and compliance of scientific communications as part of our mission to put patients at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive and ongoing searches of peer-reviewed literature, conference proceedings, and clinical trial databases related to cardiac valve disease and THV.
- Maintain and regularly update a 'Hot Off the Press' digest highlighting high-impact publications, clinical trial results, and emerging trends.
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and impactful messages tailored for internal stakeholders and field-based medical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific messages are aligned with company strategy and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Lead or support the internal evaluation process for scientific content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency of messaging.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for assessing the quality and impact of scientific communications.
- Serve as a scientific resource for internal teams.
- Support the development of scientific training materials and participate in internal education sessions.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience in scientific literature review, data interpretation, and scientific writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Strong background in cardiovascular biology or related therapeutic areas; experience in structural heart disease is a plus.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or Medical Writing within the MedTech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with THV technologies and the clinical landscape of structural heart interventions.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for scientific communication in the healthcare industry.
- Other European languages are a plus.

You'll be part of the Medical Affairs team focused on Structural Heart Disease, specifically Transcatheter Heart Valves (THV). We foster internal and external collaboration to generate and disseminate evidence-based clinical practices to help impact patient lives and advance the quality of care.
