Join Sartorius as a Field Application Specialist for our Separation Technologies in downstream bioprocessing. In this remote role supporting the Central region, you will provide deep product expertise and technical support to ensure customers successfully implement and use our filtration portfolio. You’ll be a critical technical resource for both our sales organization and our customers.
What You'll Do
- Support the Sales organization on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations, and application studies.
- Collaborate with product management to support new products through beta site testing and demonstrations.
- Analyze customer processes and user requirements to generate application trials that help design optimized solutions.
- Assist customers with first product installation, initial start-up, and ensure they receive proper training.
- Support the Quality Department by troubleshooting and analyzing customer processes during quality complaint investigations.
- Report on competitor products and provide feedback to Application Specialist Team Management and product management.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in life/biological sciences, biological engineering, or biotechnology.
- 2+ years of industry experience in downstream bioprocessing, such as TFF, UF/DF, NFF, or viral filtration.
- Ability to effectively interface with product, project, and division management.
- Experience interacting at various levels (sales, technical, end-users, leaders) both internally and with customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects and multitask.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
