Penn State University Libraries seeks a part-time Public Relations and Marketing multimedia/video communications intern to create professional-quality short video content that promotes the Libraries’ strategic initiatives, services, and resources.
What You'll Do
- Create a portfolio of professional-quality, original short video content illustrating the Libraries.
- Record, edit, and publicly release frequent and regular promotional, social media, and news feature-style video content for various audiences.
- Support Libraries initiatives and strategic goals through video content.
- Create content about individuals who work for and frequent the Libraries.
- Work between 10 and 15 hours per week during fall 2025 through spring 2026 semesters.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Commitment to work independently under deadlines with remote supervision.
- Multimedia/video communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Upper-level class standing.
- Experience creating original candid photography.
- Excellent written communication skills.
Team & Environment
Work in collaboration with the University Libraries’ Public Relations and Marketing Office.
