SSM Health is looking for a Scheduler - Days to join our team. This role is responsible for collecting data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm and create scheduled appointments for patient services. It is a full-time, day-shift position working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
- Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
- Assist with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
- Ensure all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into the electronic medical system.
- Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with EPIC, patient registration, insurance verification, call center, or customer service.
