Lead end-to-end SAP initiatives as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on S/4HANA environments and delivering high-impact IT transformations. You will own project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and risk frameworks. Your role includes defining project scope, structuring work breakdowns, managing budgets, and guiding cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive project plans using methodologies such as SAP Activate, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress, track critical paths, and report status updates to stakeholders with clarity and precision
- Coordinate team responsibilities, set deliverable deadlines, and drive decision-making to maintain project momentum
- Apply advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data, model scenarios, and present findings effectively
- Utilize tools like Jira and Signavio to manage workflows and improve process transparency
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in SAP environments, with proven success in leading complex implementations
- Strong command of project planning techniques and tools, including work breakdown structures and cost/benefit analysis
- Proficiency in SAP Activate and experience working within S/4HANA projects
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (nested functions, formulas) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
- Fluent communication in both English and German, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
- Willingness to travel when project demands require on-site engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Supply Chain Execution (EWM, TM, Yard) or Supply Chain Planning (IBP, SAC) as a project lead or consultant
- Additional language skills in Spanish, French, or Italian
