Zalaris is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to join our AMS team. In this role, you will deliver expert-level support services to our existing SAP HCM customer base, focusing on resolving incidents and service requests while ensuring timely delivery aligned with service level agreements.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day support tickets for SAP HCM modules including Payroll, PA, OM, TM, ESS, and MSS.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues within defined SLA timelines.
- Provide technical and functional support for SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll solutions.
- Deliver high-quality documentation, analysis, and root-cause resolution.
- Support and coordinate minor enhancements and change requests.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and escalate complex issues when required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer teams to ensure smooth AMS operations.
- Ensure all support activities are compliant with legal regulations and internal standards.
- Assist in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior consultants within the team.
- Participate in incident reviews and provide input to continuous service improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll business and technical knowledge, including configuration and testing across modules like payroll, PA, TM, ESS, MSS, T&E, and OM.
- Good SAP HXM/HCM product knowledge and the ability to act independently, guide others, and improve work processes.
- Previous experience in a client support environment, handling a high volume of tickets with a focus on meeting customer SLAs.
- Strong understanding of operational payroll/HR processes and their underpinning legislative requirements.
- Experience managing client relationships, keeping stakeholders informed, and making appropriate escalations.
- Ability to identify potential issues, raise them through appropriate channels, and propose solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple parties as one team.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Commercial awareness of client arrangements and a focus on delivering work within these constraints.
- Competency in the use of MS Office.
