About the Role

Sangoma Technologies is looking for a Sales/Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for our channel partners. You will act as a trusted technical advisor and business consultant, focusing on our premise-based PBX (Switchvox) platform while representing the breadth of Sangoma’s communications suite. Your role is to uncover customer needs, architect tailored solutions, and drive deals to successful closure.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the technical advisor for channel partners, providing solution design, product expertise, and sales support.
  • Lead discovery sessions and translate customer requirements into complete Sangoma solutions.
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations, training, and presentations for both PBX and cloud offerings.
  • Architect end-to-end communications solutions, including hybrid models and migration paths from on-premise to cloud.
  • Support the creation of RFPs, proposals, and statements of work.
  • Collaborate closely with Channel Managers on partner initiatives and joint sales efforts.
  • Represent Sangoma at partner meetings, events, and webinars as a subject-matter expert.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation with clear documentation and design intent.
  • Travel up to 25–30% for customer meetings, partner visits, and industry events.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical sales role.
  • Strong ability to conduct technical discovery and translate business needs into solution architecture.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Experience designing and articulating complex solutions involving both premise-based and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to create compelling technical proposals and support documentation.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with channel partners and internal sales teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Nice to Have

  • Residency in the central or western regions of the United States.
