This role is for a skilled Salesforce professional who thrives in client-facing technical environments. You will lead full-cycle implementations, from gathering requirements to final deployment, ensuring each solution aligns with business goals and technical best practices. Your work will include designing secure, efficient architectures on Salesforce platforms, customizing objects, automation, and user interfaces, and overseeing data integrity and migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements from initiation through sign-off, managing timelines, communication, training, and deliverables
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Design and implement custom configurations using Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, and advanced automation tools
- Ensure data quality through regular audits, deduplication, and structured migration processes
- Configure user roles, profiles, and sharing models to maintain strict access controls
- Build reports and dashboards that support leadership decision-making
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems such as marketing, sales, and support tools
- Support clients with troubleshooting, adoption strategies, and ongoing optimization
- Collaborate with internal teams to review code, follow design patterns, and maintain documentation
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and release cycles, identifying technical risks early
- Stay current with emerging tools, including AI-driven features in Salesforce and external LLM integrations
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least five years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with a focus on Sales or Service Cloud implementations. Full lifecycle project experience is essential. Proficiency with Lightning components, automation tools, and data migration platforms is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are critical.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to RevOps, marketing or sales operations, and experience with Apex, triggers, APIs, LWC, and DevOps tooling. Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, or App Builder) are a strong plus, as is familiarity with additional clouds such as Marketing, Commerce, or Experience Cloud.
Work Environment
This is a remote-friendly position open to candidates within the United States. While the role allows flexible scheduling, availability during standard U.S. business hours is expected. Some team alignment occurs in West Des Moines, IA, with optional in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday.
