RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and scale our next-generation marketing and communications platform. This hands-on role is approximately 60% focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and 40% on the broader Salesforce ecosystem, emphasizing data integration, automation, personalization, and modular template development.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a technical thought partner to Marketing, Communications, IT, and Product leadership on roadmap, scalability, and platform evolution.
- Build and optimize data models, Data Extensions, synchronized data, and segmentation logic to support advanced personalization and automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Marketing Cloud solutions using AMPScript, SQL, SSJS, and HTML/CSS.
- Architect and implement Journeys, automations, triggered sends, and cross-channel orchestration with a focus on reliability, scale, and performance.
- Develop dynamic, reusable email templates and content blocks, including modular frameworks for distributed marketing and personalization at scale.
- Translate design files and UX specifications into responsive, accessible, and brand-compliant Marketing Cloud templates.
- Support data synchronization, event-driven triggers, and API-based integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Contribute to broader communication strategies, including transactional messaging, preference management, and personalization services.
- Help define the future-state architecture for Marketing Technology at RE/MAX as Salesforce continues to unify Marketing Cloud with the core platform.
- Evaluate new Salesforce marketing capabilities and releases, including Data Cloud, AI-driven personalization, and next-generation journey orchestration.
- Establish and enforce development standards, governance policies, and documentation practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and compliant solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce technologies and recommend new solutions or enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Salesforce certifications required: Marketing Cloud Engagement Developer or Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- 3+ years of deep, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AMPScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and responsive email development.
- Strong experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and distributed marketing models.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, segmentation strategies, and performance optimization in large-scale Marketing Cloud environments.
- Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce core orgs using Connect, APIs, and event-based patterns.
- Ability to translate business and design requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
- Comfortable collaborating directly with business stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes—not just complete tasks.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
- Salesforce certifications valued: Certified Platform Developer, Platform Administrator, User Experience (UX) Designer.
- Salesforce certifications bonus: Revenue Cloud Consultant or Experience Cloud Consultant.
