About the Role

This role supports the Fruit & Vegetable sales team by managing key customer relationships and driving growth through strategic account management. The position is fully remote, based in the United States, and plays a central role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate customer requirements clearly to internal trade and quality teams.
  • Meet commercial targets by selling a full range of ingredients through informed negotiations and strong product knowledge.
  • Manage contract execution, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment against agreements.
  • Set pricing strategies tailored to specific customer needs and market conditions.
  • Maintain precise customer and vendor records in ERP systems, including contract entries and CRM data updates.
  • Monitor inventory levels and contract balances using ERP tools to support reliable delivery.
  • Ensure shipments and documentation reach customers on schedule.
  • Lead follow-up on customer complaints or claims, coordinating timely resolutions including financial adjustments.
  • Oversee customer credit limits and confirm order coverage to reduce financial risk.
  • Support accounts receivable processes as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks aligned with sales and operational goals.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Marketing, International Trade, or Agriculture is required. Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of experience in a commercial setting, with a proven ability to manage customer portfolios independently. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate business needs. Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is essential. The ideal candidate works effectively with minimal supervision and contributes to multiple business processes.
