We are hiring a Sales Specialist- Controlled Environments to manage the Production Supplies and Apparel portfolio regionally within the PA, NJ, and NY (Long Island) territory. You will work in conjunction with the general sales teams to map accounts, qualify opportunities, and close business for products used within controlled environment workflows.
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota for products used within controlled environment workflows.
- Fully utilize CRM tools and applications to manage pipeline and sales forecast.
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in converting competitive products.
- Support the general sales teams within the territory by mapping accounts.
- Provide detailed territory performance results and strategically manage to plan.
- Manage the controlled environment portfolio in your territory.
- Present total cleanroom solution offerings to existing and prospective customers.
- Train and motivate general sales teams to understand and sell the controlled environment portfolio.
- Communicate portfolio value propositions to sales representatives and customers.
- Manage supplier relationships and assume overall territory ownership.
- Maintain current knowledge of vertical market dynamics, application trends, and critical business information.
- Technically support and sell the entire production suppliers and apparel portfolio.
- Ensure effective communication with general sales teams and leadership.
- Provide technical guidance based on current industry standards including ISO 14644-1, ISO 14698, and 21CFR11.
What We're Looking For
- BS Degree and relative work experience required.
- 3 years’ experience working in or supporting production activities in a controlled environment.
- Firm understanding of and experience within the controlled and critical environment applications within the pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, and/or microelectronics industries.
- Strong collaboration, teamwork, and ability to drive results.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, organizational, and time/territory management skills.
- Ability to implement programs, recognize opportunities, communicate ideas, and act with little direction in a fluid, matrixed environment.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Overnight travel is required.

- Compensation range: $86,250.00 - $146,912.50
