Valmet seeks a Sales Manager to lead its Flow Control Business in Spain. You will take ownership of the end user and OEM market, strengthening the local sales team and driving growth within the Refining and Chemical, Renewable and Gases, and Metals and Mining sectors.
What You'll Do
- Plan and use company resources to quote for Refining and Chemical, Renewable and Gases, and Metals and Mining markets, for both end users and OEMs.
- Pursue sales leads and visit existing and new customers to meet sales targets.
- Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority.
- Conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to build positive relationships for future sales.
- Act as a continuous improvement and health and safety agent.
What We're Looking For
- M.Sc or B.Sc in an Engineering field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated success in a global matrix company environment.
- Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Personal qualities: autonomy, proactivity, initiative, team player, fluent negotiator, strong problem solver, quick establisher of credibility, effective time management.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, internally and externally.
- Willingness to travel across Spain (50-60% of travel) and occasionally abroad.
- Valid driving license.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Flow Control fields and valves related background.
