Clariant is looking for a Sales Manager to lead sales of our Syngas catalyst portfolio to Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen, and OTF gas plants, primarily in the SEA/ANZ region. This role is central to expanding our competitive position in the Syngas industry, ensuring market participation, and supporting business development projects in the energy transition.
What You'll Do
- Manage the complete sales process from acquisition, bid proposals including risk management, contract negotiations with pricing approval from your manager, and after-sales services.
- Acquire new customers by analyzing and understanding client technology in detail to offer appropriate products.
- Maintain an accurate order received and order invoiced forecast as input for resource planning.
- Maintain reporting systems such as CRM, Installed Volume, Miller-Heimann Sheets, Call Reports, and similar.
- Ensure post-sales services including order processing, payment collections, handling complaints, and arranging technical services with ACT.
- Act as the face to customers for troubleshooting cases, coordinating start-up/shut-down site service arrangements with support from ACT.
- Collect and communicate competitor and market information.
- Fulfill any other job-related ad hoc needs from direct and functional management.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Chemical Engineering.
- More than 5 years of working experience in the Syngas industry.
- Fluency in English.
- Good computer literacy, especially in MS applications and simulation/modelling software.
Nice to Have
- Preferably experience handling Ammonia plants.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia will be a significant added advantage.
