AGCO Corporation is seeking a strategic Sales Manager to drive growth in our agricultural business. You will be responsible for developing the brand strategically and tactically in your assigned markets, managing our dealer network, and leading sales teams to achieve critical performance targets.
What You'll Do
- Develop the brand strategically and tactically in assigned markets, ensuring achievement of volume, conversion, discount, and gross margin targets.
- Define and implement market-specific commercial and marketing initiatives.
- Manage dealer relationships, including commercial governance, annual planning, joint planning with distribution partners, and negotiating distribution agreements.
- Manage and develop sales teams by setting objectives, driving performance, motivating team members, and establishing effective structures for results-oriented execution.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Distribution, Aftersales, AGCO Finance, and other corporate functions.
- Ensure smooth implementation and use of AGCO's global CRM system.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience with agricultural machinery dealers, including a deep understanding of their operations, commercial levers, and how to drive a network towards brand, market share, and full-line profitability objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a brand strategically and tactically in assigned markets, achieving volume, conversion, discount, and gross margin targets while implementing market-adapted commercial and marketing initiatives.
- Strong skills in dealer management, including commercial governance, annual and joint planning with distribution partners, and negotiating sustainable and profitable distribution agreements.
- Confirmed experience in managing and developing sales teams, including setting objectives, performance management, motivation, and establishing effective structures for optimal execution.
- A university degree in business administration, agricultural economics, sales & marketing, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in English and French is essential.
