Nextcloud is looking for a Sales Engineer/Consultant to bridge technical expertise and sales execution. You will use your knowledge to advise clients, support the sales process, and ensure our open source solutions meet their specific needs.

What You'll Do

Persuade clients that our products best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
Work closely with sales on customer projects, bids, and tenders.
Calculate client quotations and provide pre-sales technical assistance.
Support proof of concept deployments and pilots at customer sites.
Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
Arrange and carry out product training for clients and internal teams.
Provide after-sales support services and technical backup as required.
Support sales and marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events.
Liaise with other members of the sales team and engineering experts.
Help in the design of custom-made products.
Produce support material for other members of the sales team.

A solid technical background for infrastructure set-ups in medium and large organizations.
Demonstrated sales skills and sound business judgement.
Strong organizational, teamworking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Product knowledge around open source technology.
