AuditBoard is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II (Full Stack) to lead large, strategic, and complex projects. In this remote Canada role, you will design scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and build product features from conception to deployment.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship product features end-to-end.
- Write clear and well-defined design documentation.
- Mentor fellow engineers.
- Lead application architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software bugs.
- Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS.
- Work on React, Vue, or Ember SPA front-ends.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Participate in an Agile software development life cycle.
- Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code.
- Be product-minded and think about the customer.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
- Experience guiding high-quality work through delivery across multiple developers.
- Experience with a modern front-end framework such as Ember, Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience writing REST / JSON APIs.
- Experience writing software tests.
- Ability to solve technical problems independently.
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Motivation to work hard and always be learning.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript.
- Experience with Ember.JS.
- Experience working on SaaS web applications.
- Docker or Kubernetes experience.
