Plaid is hiring a Sales Engineer - Enterprise to join our team. In this role, you will be the critical technical partner to our enterprise sales organization, architecting solutions for our most significant prospective clients. You will leverage deep technical knowledge to guide customers through complex integrations and demonstrate how Plaid can solve their strategic challenges.
What You'll Do
- Partner with enterprise Account Executives to develop and execute technical sales strategies
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospective clients' business objectives, technical architecture, and integration requirements
- Design and present customized technical solutions and implementation plans
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept builds tailored to enterprise needs
- Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, fielding complex questions and building credibility
- Translate customer feedback and technical requirements into actionable insights for our Product and Engineering teams
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Proven track record of supporting enterprise sales cycles for a technical SaaS or API product
- Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with software development, APIs, and system integration principles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
