Role Overview

A leading technology company is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead high-voltage switchgear sales in Zone North, India. This position plays a key role in expanding market presence and delivering tailored solutions to clients in the power and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at EPCs and utility companies to identify technical and commercial requirements.
  • Own the achievement of sales targets for both AIS and GIS high-voltage switchgear products, driving revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead technical discussions during pre-sales phases, including specification development and product positioning across industries, utilities, and EPCs.
  • Support marketing initiatives to promote the company’s high-voltage portfolio and sustainable technology offerings.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
  • Support financial performance by tracking payment milestones and aligning collections with forecasts.
  • Use Salesforce (SFDC) and Power BI for accurate reporting of sales performance and customer engagement.
  • Respond quickly to customer concerns, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term trust.
  • Follow internal and external compliance standards, maintaining integrity and accountability in all business practices.
  • Uphold core values of safety, integrity, and sustainability in daily operations and customer interactions.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a university degree in electrical or electronic engineering and have at least five years of experience with high-voltage switchgear products. Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and fluency in English are essential. Willingness to travel within Zone North is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to lead change and adapt to evolving business environments.

Technical Tools

The role utilizes Salesforce (SFDC) for customer relationship management and Power BI for data analysis and sales reporting.

Work Environment

This is a local position based in Faridabad, Haryana, India, with flexibility to support business needs, including regular travel to customer sites across Zone North.
