About the Role

Heymarket is hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative to identify prospective mid-market opportunities and initiate sales engagement through a mix of creative outbound channels. This role is a key growth opportunity for a high-performing SDR to advance towards a full end-to-end sales career within our people-first culture.

What You'll Do

  • Break into a new vertical by creatively prospecting to meet stakeholders at all levels of larger businesses.
  • Utilize outbound sales skills across multiple communication methods, including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Generate interest and meetings from Finance, Procurement, and IT leaders for a product that helps them save time and money on software renewals.
  • Develop skills across a broad range of modern sales technology tools.
  • Work closely with an Enterprise Sales Development Manager, Enablement Manager, and Head of Sales to develop your sales skills.
  • Help refine the messaging we use to be successful.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of work experience in a high-velocity sales environment as a top-performing SDR/BDR.
  • A track record of success working for a U.S.-based tech company selling to U.S. prospects, with a strong focus on cold-calling.
  • A proven ability to not only meet but also exceed targets.
  • Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and high emotional intelligence.
  • High self-motivation and proactive time management.
  • Grit and the ability to handle rejection.
  • Resourcefulness, always looking for new ways to open doors.
  • Coachability and a willingness to learn.
  • A highly positive outlook.
  • Sound judgment when handling new situations.
