Technology Services Distributors, or TSDs, have traditionally marketed monthly "as-a-service" solutions like connectivity, unified communications, and software-defined wide area networking through an extensive network of representatives and strategic advisors. Established networking industry leaders predominantly utilize significant upfront capital expenditure models for physical infrastructure sales, which fundamentally conflicts with TSDs' commission-based, continuous service billing approaches, effectively marginalizing them from major vendors like Cisco and Aruba. Meter delivers a comprehensively integrated, end-to-end networking solution via monthly subscription, prioritizing customer outcomes over hardware and support contract sales, thereby perfectly aligning with TSD business strategies. Meter represents one of the few comprehensive networking platforms that TSDs and their partners can confidently offer customers, positioning the channel as critical for accelerating growth and expanding reliable, high-performance internet access for businesses. What success looks like Your primary objective will be generating closed revenue from the TSD channel for our sales team. Within initial weeks, you'll rapidly create impact by leveraging established partner ecosystem connections to promote Meter's approach to both TSDs and their associated partners. Although you may have previously sold various technological solutions, you'll acquire sufficient networking knowledge to effectively communicate why Meter's comprehensive networking offering represents the optimal solution for partner businesses and their clientele. You'll support Enterprise and Major representatives serving the designated region, embedding yourself within the team to earn trust while proactively enabling existing and potential trusted advisors to generate opportunities and develop pipeline. While Meter remains in early go-to-market stages, particularly within the TSD channel, substantial growth potential remains unexplored. Over time, you'll have opportunities to manage key partner relationships or lead regional partner sales teams. What your day-to-day will look like Typically, you'll serve as an intermediary between our sales team and partner sales representatives and leadership, coordinating with Meter's internal teams to track deal progression, address updates, and resolve operational challenges during quoting, contracting, and deployment processes. Despite initial channel success, building trust and brand recognition remains paramount, necessitating extensive in-person partner engagement. You'll dedicate significant time traveling to regional events, training sessions, and summits to drive awareness and sales pipeline. To expand the channel, you'll recruit and empower new partners while deepening engagement with top-performing participants. Collaboration with Partner Marketing and Partner Enablement teams will focus on developing incentives, marketing development funds, and upcoming summits or webinars. Who you are Deep expertise and comprehensive understanding of the TSD partner ecosystem, likely stemming from telecommunications industry experience selling connectivity, unified communications, or software-defined networking services. Familiarity with industry key players and strategic contact networks for accelerating Meter's growth. Proven track record of leveraging TSD relationships to drive revenue during high-growth periods, consistently exceeding partner-sourced revenue targets. Comfortable navigating technical products and concepts, capable of quickly mastering networking fundamentals to communicate confidently with partners and end customers. Demonstrated high-urgency approach with action-oriented mindset, excelling at not just relationship cultivation but deal registration and closure. Comfortable with 50%+ travel, genuinely enjoying face-to-face partner management interactions. Adaptable to early-stage go-to-market ambiguity and constant change, ideally with high-growth technology startup experience. Why Meter? The internet powers global communication. Every digital interaction—emails, purchases, video calls—relies on network packet transmission. However, network infrastructures have remained stagnant for decades: fragile, complex, and challenging to implement in enterprise environments. Meter's mission involves constructing superior networks, requiring ground-up development of enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operational processes to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Currently, Meter builds and deploys networks at scale, with prominent organizations like Bridgewater, Lyft, and Reddit relying on their infrastructure to maintain employee and location productivity. Meter's fundamental hypothesis is straightforward: internet usage will continue expanding. They believe their comprehensive networking stack represents the definitive solution for enabling seamless, reliable business connectivity.
