Wolters Kluwer is looking for a Sales Channel & Affiliate Manager, Software (Indirect Tax) to represent our products and services to a portfolio of Channel Partners. In this remote role, you'll be instrumental in identifying, recruiting, and managing partners to fuel sales for the CCH Tagetik Corporate Tax program.
What You'll Do
- Meet assigned targets for sales generated or referred by your Channel Partner Portfolio.
- Execute the go-to-market strategy and create a business plan for each assigned partner.
- Build productive relationships with executive sponsors, field sales, and key contacts at partners.
- Coordinate ongoing education and training sessions for Channel Partners to drive new sales.
- Identify, recruit, negotiate, on-board, develop, train, and manage new partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of Channel Partners’ sales organizations, products, and strategies.
- Work with Marketing to craft partner-specific messaging and programs.
- Collaborate on partner planning to develop mutual performance objectives and financial targets.
- Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with partner executives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Channel Partners on strategic issues.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to maximize partner revenue potential.
- Report partner-related activities in the CRM.
- Present to partners, prospects, and customers at industry trade show events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Tax & Accounting industry sales or relevant work experience; knowledge of Tax & Accounting practices.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic/conceptual level and a detailed/operational level.
- Metrics driven with a highly disciplined process orientation.
- Ability to work in a teaming environment with several internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to perform in a consultative, collaborative manner and engender trust.
- Sound business judgment and flexibility to manage unexpected changes.
- Engaging operational style that builds credibility with staff, colleagues, and clients.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple complex initiatives.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Nice to Have
- 7+ years of experience in Channel Sales/Partner Management, Account Management, or Business Development with software/SaaS or cloud technology solutions.
- Demonstrated track record in Channel Partner Management and 3rd party arrangements.
- Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex deals.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Maintains a robust professional network across multiple industry and technology communities.
- Strong knowledge of major ERP, E Commerce and POS products.
- Significant demonstrable technical knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application.

- Compensation: $121,350 - $170,050 (Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA)
