The Brand Media Manager will lead DoorDash's Brand Media efforts across the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) markets, serving as the primary decision-maker for brand media strategy and execution. This role operates within a high-growth, agile environment and is responsible for managing a significant media budget to drive customer acquisition and market share growth. The position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager for Growth and works closely with the Senior Marketing Director (ANZ) and integrated marketing teams.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary decision-maker for brand media strategy and execution in ANZ markets
- Manage a sizable media budget to achieve high-impact visibility and gain market share
- Develop and implement an effective and efficient media plan across channels
- Collaborate with integrated marketing team and media buying agencies
- Develop best-in-class, innovative campaigns in an agile, high-growth environment
- Ensure the challenger brand achieves high-impact visibility
- Work in close partnership with the Senior Marketing Director (ANZ)
- Report on media effectiveness, metrics, and contribution to customer order volume goals
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of managing substantial media budgets
- Sophisticated understanding of the Australian (and ideally New Zealand) media landscape
- Comfortable reporting on media effectiveness and metrics to the wider business
- Clear, defensible point of view on excellence in media buying across channels such as Out-of-Home (OOH), digital, screens, audio
- Experience operating as an individual contributor or within small, high-performing teams
- Accountability for the end-to-end media lifecycle
- Extensive experience partnering with media buying agencies to produce best-in-class work under tight timelines
- Demonstrated ability to implement local-first strategies that align with business objectives
- Experience in building forecasts and business cases using data and insights
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly across integrated marketing teams
