As a New Business Development Executive, you'll lead the expansion of food services operations in the Southeast Region by identifying untapped opportunities and converting them into long-term contracts. Your focus will be on prospecting, strategic outreach, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients through targeted research and outreach in the corporate food services sector
- Guide opportunities through every stage of the sales pipeline, including introductory meetings, proposal development, and negotiation
- Lead responses to RFPs in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders
- Meet or exceed financial and business development targets set by leadership
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at client organizations
- Support broader team goals related to account growth and client retention
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with at least seven years of professional experience, including 4–5 years in sales within a managed services or food service environment. Success in this role requires a disciplined approach to prospecting, experience managing multi-year sales cycles, and the ability to structure and close complex agreements.
Strong financial understanding, executive-level communication skills, and proven relationship-building capabilities are essential. You must be highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting with regular travel.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid, remote-based position requiring approximately 50% travel across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. You’ll operate with autonomy while remaining closely connected to regional and national teams.
