Baptist Health is hiring a Sales Associate to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South. In this role, you will be responsible for performing clerical and customer service tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our gift shop, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment and excellent service for visitors and staff.
What You'll Do
- Perform clerical and customer service tasks in support of day-to-day gift shop operations.
- Initiate and complete sales transactions with proper customer service skills.
- Conduct daily inspection of the store to ensure merchandise is well stocked and the store is neat and clean.
- Assess the needs and wants of customers to ensure their shopping expectations are met.
- Prepare cash register and handle telephone calls.
- Perform additional duties assigned that are within the scope of the role.
What We're Looking For
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience as a cashier in a retail setting.
Work Mode
This position is onsite at Baptist Medical Center South.
