Allianz is looking for a Sales Agent to develop new business within an assigned territory in Illinois. You will proactively build a network to serve the interests of both the company and clients through effective relationships with policyholders and internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop prospects through direct cold calling, third-party referrals, trade associations, and other sources.
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to manage the entire sales cycle, from understanding business needs to converting applications to a policy.
- Work with internal stakeholders in Commercial, Risk, and Customer Experience to provide the best product offerings.
- Proactively build and expand a network, focusing on client referrals and personal relationships beyond just brokers.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of product features, the competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Negotiate and close complex deals.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in similar roles.
- Ability to overcome objections and influence internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Tenacity and ability to work in a high-performance sales environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of business financials and credit basics.
- Ability to secure and maintain Property & Casualty Insurance within the first 60 days of employment.
- Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enthusiasm for learning and integrating AI (such as Generative AI, Data Analysis, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) into everyday business processes.

- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, finance, or a related discipline.

- Salary: $85,000-$110,000 base plus commissions.
