Confluence Technologies is hiring a Sales Account Manager to own a territory covering large and mid-tier financial clients across Canada. This commercially focused role offers autonomy to shape your approach, with an emphasis on driving renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and nurturing strategic client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Own a territory covering both large and mid-tier financial clients.
- Build and nurture senior client relationships through in-person visits, web meetings, and industry events.
- Drive renewals, upsell opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Manage your territory with precision, attention to detail, and strong time management.
- Work closely with senior decision-makers at leading financial institutions.
- Collaborate with a dynamic, supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years in account management, with a focus on analytics and software/data sales within the investment management industry.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com and the full Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of Miller Heiman or similar sales management approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Based in Montreal or Toronto, with flexibility to travel as needed.
- Fluent French Speaker.
Nice to Have
- Existing network within asset management, wealth management, or related financial sectors.
- Experience managing both large and mid-tier accounts, with a track record of identifying upsell opportunities.
- Experience building client relationships through in-person visits, web meetings, and industry conferences.
- Ability to stay current on industry trends and developments.
- Comfortable being the sole account manager for the territory, with autonomy and accountability for results.
