Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a Rooms Division Manager to join our Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the Rooms Division, including the Front Office, Bell Desk, Communication Centre, Security Management, and Housekeeping.
What You'll Do
- Ensure all guest and team member needs are met efficiently by creating memorable experiences and providing excellent service.
- Prepare the department’s budget, including yearly business plans, monthly room forecasts, and payroll forecasts.
- Maintain positive relationships with all of the hotel’s relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to reach the hotel’s goals and increase occupancy and revenue.
- Develop the skills and effectiveness of Rooms Division employees through training, coaching, and mentoring.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rooms Division Manager or Front Office Manager in a large hotel operation.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or Tourism Management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train, and motivate team members.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with strong service recovery skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure.
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a 5-star hotel brand is highly advantageous.
- Experience with revenue and budget management is advantageous.
