Octopus Energy Group is hiring a Roofer within its Solar Technology division, based in York. You will be a key contributor to our mission of accelerating the transition to green energy by ensuring the structural integrity and quality of solar panel installations.
What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality roofing work to prepare for and support solar panel installations.
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to ensure roof suitability and safety.
- Collaborate with solar installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices for roofing work.
- Maintain and care for roofing tools and equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a professional roofer.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks on remote project sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid UK driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
Work Mode
This is primarily a remote position based in the York, United Kingdom area. Work will be performed on various job sites, requiring travel within the region.
