We are looking for fluent native speakers of Swahili to support an advanced AI research project focused on human expression. Your contributions will center on recording short audio and video clips that reflect a range of emotions and vocal tones, helping to refine how artificial intelligence interprets nuanced communication.
What You'll Do
- Record brief video or audio samples using clear, expressive speech
- Listen to recorded content and transcribe spoken language with accuracy
- Capture emotional context and vocal subtleties in both produced and received media
What We're Looking For
- Natural fluency in Swahili as a first language
- Ability to convey emotion and intent through vocal variation
- A quiet, consistent environment for recording
- Access to a 1080p camera capable of video capture
- Comfort speaking on camera, with or without prior experience
Preferred Background
- Training or experience in theater, improvisation, or performance
- Background in public speaking, vocal arts, or classical voice
- Use of professional audio or video equipment
Work Environment
This is a remote, project-based role with no set schedule. Assignments are distributed based on availability and fit, allowing you to participate from any location. There are no guaranteed weekly hours, and workloads may shift over time. All tasks are completed independently, with flexibility built into each phase of contribution.
