Henry Ford Providence Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. In this clinical role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients requiring a higher level of monitoring.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and direct care for Medical/Surgical Telemetry patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data, responding to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Accurately document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
What We're Looking For
- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
