Henry Ford Providence Hospitals is hiring a Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical Oncology) to join our team in Novi, Michigan. This role provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
- Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the health care team.
- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of those solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Nice to Have
- A BSN is preferred.
