Baptist Health is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to coordinate and evaluate unit activities for the provision of quality patient care. In this role, you will serve as a mentor and role model to nursing staff, ensuring the application of clinical standards and departmental goals.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for the provision of quality patient care during the assigned shift.
- Serve as a mentor to the nursing staff.
- Act as a role model by providing direction in the application of the nursing process, quality improvement standards, and organizational and department goals and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of staff nurse experience.
- Active RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
Nice to Have
- BSN degree.
Team & Environment
This role reports directly to the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Baptist Medical Center East.
