CareHarmony is hiring a Risk Analyst to provide operational and analytical support in the strategic development of our Risk Management program. This role assists in planning, implementing, and managing risk and insurance matters to ensure optimal coverage aligned with our risk appetite. You will gain exposure to diverse risk processes and interact with insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
What You'll Do
- Drive activity for the renewal of insurance programs, ensuring accuracy of policy documentation, underwriting, exposure, and loss information.
- Diligently review and reconcile insurance policy terms and invoices at binding to prevent gaps in coverage or incorrect premium costs.
- Coordinate the issuance of insurance policy endorsements for changes in auto fleet, properties, or equipment.
- Oversee the Certificate of Insurance issuance process and review contracts for applicable certificate language.
- Review and provide risk management and insurance advice on production insurance declarations for our sports TV production business.
- Review invoices for accuracy and work closely with finance to ensure timely payment processing.
- Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files, including detailed grids and trackers for insured vehicles, drivers, and assets.
- Provide administrative support and assist with department projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with a commercial insurance broker or carrier, or within an in-house corporate insurance or risk management department.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of risk management within a global organization.
- Excellent understanding of business activities and the risk management issues that affect them.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make clear, effective recommendations.
- Competency in standard PC operating systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong systematic approach to problem solving.
- Pro-active attitude, resilience under pressure, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to develop and implement automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to organize disparate data from various sources into consistent and efficient information.
- Ability to perform research using internal and external information resources.
- Ability to listen, understand others' points of view, and articulate your own perspective tactfully and respectfully.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
