About the Role

Recursion is hiring a Reward Analyst for a 7-month contract to take stewardship of our global compensation programs. As the engine behind our Role and Reward cycles, you will ensure roles are benchmarked appropriately and systems are intuitive for leaders. This high-impact role is ideal for a data-driven professional passionate about building tech-enabled, AI-forward people programs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of our global 'Role and Reward' cycles, managing salary and bonus reviews to align outcomes with our goals.
  • Contribute to the design and development of our compensation systems and HRIS tools, leveraging technology to automate workflows.
  • Conduct deep-dive market analysis using biotech-specific intelligence and alternative data to ensure competitiveness across US, UK, and Canadian hubs.
  • Partner with our Stock Services team to ensure seamless administration and communication of our equity programs.
  • Lead job evaluation and leveling exercises across all functions, ensuring internal equity and creating growth pathways.
  • Provide compensation analytics and modeling to align our people strategy with business priorities.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years leading progressive compensation strategies in high-growth biotech or tech-forward environments.
  • Experience managing end-to-end global Role & Reward cycles at scale, including merit, bonus, and market benchmarking.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to HRIS workflows and optimize tools for scalable leader experiences.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
  • Deep expertise in equity-based compensation, including modeling value and communicating impact to diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading job architecture and leveling initiatives to ensure internal equity.
  • Proficiency leveraging AI and modern People Tech to automate workflows and scale reward operations.
