DaVita is looking for a Revenue Specialist I, ROPS to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting payments from insurance companies on outstanding patient balances, researching and resolving problem accounts, and maximizing collections to achieve performance goals. This role focuses on developing relationships with insurance payers and conducting detailed research via phone, email, and insurance portals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies.
- Collect payment from insurance companies on outstanding patient balances.
- Research and resolve problem accounts as needed.
- Maximize collections to achieve collection performance goals.
- Identify trends and perform root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid claims.
- Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with the appropriate insurance payor.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clinical personnel, teammates, and insurance representatives.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- Healthcare and medical billing/collections experience
