Civic Marketplace is seeking a Revenue Operations Lead to serve as our strategic cross-functional operations architect. You will design, implement, and institutionalize the playbooks, tools, and systems that scale our footprint and impact. This is a tactical role for someone who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments.
What You'll Do
- Codify and standardize vendor and agency onboarding, bid management, and shortlisting processes.
- Build internal frameworks for cross-functional collaboration, SLAs, and reporting.
- Lead scalable go-to-market execution in five new states.
- Establish metrics and dashboards that drive accountability and growth.
- Map end-to-end procurement lifecycle workflows (RFI/RFQ creation, vendor shortlisting, contract execution).
- Create intuitive SOPs, process diagrams, and decision-trees for internal and external use.
- Develop a repeatable state-entry playbook including stakeholder engagement, compliance checklists, and local-market adaptations.
- Define milestone trackers, timeline templates, and launch operations.
- Integrate with existing tools such as HubSpot dashboards and Asana workflows.
- Define SLAs and protocols for handoffs between Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering.
- Implement a weekly reporting cadence: KPI dashboards, exception logs, and risk registers.
- Train internal teams on new playbooks with clear cheat-sheets and kickoff sessions.
- Gather feedback and iterate playbooks in real time.
- Deliver a comprehensive, modular “Operations Playbook” with templates, governance protocols, and implementation guides.
- Collaborate with leadership to embed operational best practices into Civic Marketplace’s DNA.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in operations, strategy, or consulting.
- Proven success in building and scaling operational systems across teams and geographies.
- Mastery of process mapping, documentation, and facilitation.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in dashboards and data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communicator with a knack for simplifying the complex.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Background in top-tier consulting or an MBA from a top-tier institution.
- Experience with SaaS, marketplace platforms, or public-sector tech.
