Nextech is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting revenue accounting operations and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 standards.
What You'll Do
- Support the month-end close process for revenue accounting, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Prepare and analyze revenue data, providing insights and supporting reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations and FP&A, to ensure accurate revenue reporting
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of revenue accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Nice to Have
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company
- Experience with NetSuite
