Fidelity is hiring a Retirement Planner to build customer loyalty by guiding Tax Exempt retirement plan participants. In this role, you will be responsible for educating workplace participants about their plan benefits and providing the guidance they need to make confident decisions for their financial future.
What You'll Do
- Onboard new participants by educating them on their company’s match and savings, and providing fundamental guidance for selecting their investment strategy.
- Support consolidation inquiries by proactively discussing prior workplace plans and outside investments, offering suitable solutions.
- Actively engage participants in a needs-based analysis to identify appropriate solutions that support their overall retirement plan.
- Leverage guidance offerings and tools to assist customers with their retirement readiness.
- Apply consultative selling skills to customer interactions to identify suitable solutions while acquiring, retaining, and developing assets.
- Understand and articulate Fidelity Viewpoints to provide general education to clients.
- Identify opportunities for more complex guidance and partner with other Retirement Planner associates as appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Series 7 FINRA license required.
- Series 63 license required.
- Series 66 FINRA license required.
- Must permanently reside within a 90-mile radius of a Houston Fidelity Investor Center.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Knowledge of tax exempt retirement products and services.
- Previous phone center experience.
