Stord, Inc. is looking for an Associate/Junior Project Manager, Business Operations to support high-impact initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and financial accuracy. In this hands-on role, you will focus on the rollout and optimization of core enterprise systems, translating strategic goals into actionable project plans, and driving execution across key workstreams.
What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of key enterprise systems, such as new invoicing platforms, to improve billing accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
- Assist in optimizing existing systems to identify inefficiencies and drive scalability across the organization.
- Manage specific project workstreams within high-impact initiatives, including planning, timeline tracking, risk identification, and coordination across cross-functional teams.
- Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable project roadmaps, charters, and workflows.
- Conduct research and provide analytical support by gathering data, synthesizing insights, and framing trade-offs to support decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Product, Customer Success, Finance, and other departments to align priorities and drive execution.
- Maintain clear and organized project documentation, dashboards, and operating cadences to provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Help codify best practices and develop repeatable frameworks for future initiatives.
- Adapt to evolving priorities, jumping into ambiguous problem areas with structure, curiosity, and a keen attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, or operations.
- Proven ability to manage tasks and contribute to the execution of complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong attention to detail with a bias toward action and high standards for follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and drive team alignment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, concise, and professional style.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Basic analytical fluency and comfort working with data to support project decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
