Lincoln Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Sales Director to achieve profitable sales, growth, and retention goals for large, complex group clients. In this remote role focusing on the Central/Pacific NW region, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic relationship plans to ensure client satisfaction and business objectives are met.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and execute complex client relationship plans to satisfy service needs and meet profitability objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert, consulting on complex sales strategies to optimize client satisfaction and retention.
- Build, enhance, and maintain effective relationships with complex client organizations to increase sales revenues and profitability.
- Identify clients with retention risk and develop complex plans to retain them.
- Develop and maintain plans to support retention sales and product breadth growth within existing clients.
- Profile your territory to identify firms interested in Lincoln Financial offerings and target executives for relationship building.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by leveraging an advanced understanding of Lincoln Financial's products, services, and operational structure.
- Participate in industry trade organization meetings to seek sponsorship or speaking opportunities for Lincoln Financial.
- Support retention efforts by identifying cross-sell opportunities with appropriate stakeholders.
- Meet or exceed all departmental and sales goals and targets.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management of Defined Contribution plans.
- A 4-Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Ability to obtain FINRA S6, S63, Life & Health licenses within 180 days of hire.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate knowledgeably and credibly with internal and external senior management.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of management through clear and logical discussions.
- Advanced relationship management skills with internal and external clients; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.

- Strong working knowledge of retirement plan ERISA rules and regulations.

- Compensation range: $215,000 - $480,000, with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint.
