Job Title: Retiree-Faculty Emeritus Department: Arts and Sciences | Arts Administration Education and Policy Position Overview The Department of Arts Administration, Education and Policy seeks a part-time, 25% FTE faculty member to support the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accreditation process, critical for departmental and institutional compliance with national educational standards. Scope of Work The selected candidate will collaborate with departmental faculty/staff and associated units to manage data collection, organize accreditation materials, and prepare the NASAD report. Responsibilities include: Data Acquisition and Report Development - Collect and manage departmental data required for NASAD accreditation - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation Narrative and Submission Preparation - Transform data into narrative descriptions for NASAD report - Prepare physical and electronic submissions for administrative review - Coordinate external evaluation committee interactions and material organization Education and Experience: Required: Ph.D. in Art, Art Administration, Education, and Policy, or related field; extensive university experience at Associate or Full professor rank. Desired Experience: Significant involvement in university and national/professional institutional governance roles. Qualifications Comprehensive higher education administrative background with prior NASAD accreditation involvement. Project management and data analysis expertise ensures reporting precision and efficiency. Position Details: - 25% FTE temporary role - Approximately 10 weekly hours - Duration: December 2025 through April 2026 Additional Information: Location: Remote Position Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Scheduled Hours: 10 Shift: First Shift Ohio State champions diversity and meaningful impact.
