AltaMed is looking for a Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to pharmacists, performing pharmacy-related duties for a company passionate about providing quality care for everyone. You will work under direct supervision, handling critical tasks that help us deliver exceptional care.
What You'll Do
- Assist pharmacists with performing pharmacy-related duties.
- Perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks within established standards and guidelines.
- Perform clerical functions.
What We're Looking For
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy.
- Valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
